No Rust
Time ages this body of mine
No longer as fast on a run
Now comfortable with the word “jog”
I enjoy the moments when I stride
Feeling the lubrication of my body
My cardiovascular system strengthening
You can search anywhere on this old body…
My hair is now worn off by time
The wrinkles around my eyes are spreading
And though it might not be as speedy or pretty
As I was when I was thirty something
But at sixty-two… you will find no rust!
