Grandpa sits in his favorite chair
puts on his reading glasses,
he opens up the paper
and catches up on the news.
He points things out
shows me different pictures,
"Do you know that person?" he'd ask
I'd respond smiling, "No, tell me."
My grandfather was the only
father figure I had in my life,
I miss him with my heart and soul
I go through daily strife.
