Today I offer you,
Life and prosperity;
If to the Lord be true,
You will have liberty.
Or death and destruction,
Be your desired way;
Through evil seduction,
Allowing you to stray.
This is what I command,
To love the Lord your God;
Be guided by His hand,
As you honor and laud.
Follow His directions,
And obey His commands;
Having no objections,
When He gives reprimands.
You can expect to live,
A long and happy life;
For the Lord will forgive,
When in the midst of strife.
The Lord your God will bless,
As you see an increase;
If willing to confess,
Hostility will cease.
Your hearts might turn away,
By turning a deaf ear;
And start to go astray,
In God you lose your fear.
Temptation to bow down,
To other things as gods;
Lured by harlots in gowns
Blinded of being frauds.
I ask Heaven and earth,
Either choose life or death;
What His blessings are worth,
Or cursed to your last breath.
