The body is not just one part,
As for the center is the heart;
One end is your foot and your toes,
The place as to where your shoe goes.
The foot is never like the hand,
But moves as the brain would command;
Making able for us to walk,
While the mouth just loves to talk.
While the hand has five fingers,
Until told to each one lingers;
With the sense of feeling to touch,
Sensations fill us up so much.
The mouth does consist of the lips,
So when we drink it takes in sips;
Inside is where we find the tongue,
Where the words that we speak are flung.
Above the mouth you find the nose,
Where any sweet aroma goes;
And all of the terrible smell,
Within the air will also dwell.
Above the nose you find the eyes,
To others will make you look wise;
They will enable you to read,
The words of God that you do need.
Beside each eye you find an ear,
That will enable you to hear;
Whenever to you God would speak,
To signal the eye to go seek.
Each part is linked up to the mind,
That His Spirit should be aligned;
Together makes a job get done,
When it is working all as one.
Each part has its own job to do,
For accomplishing the tasks for you;
Just as God also to endue,
For each of us have to pursue.
