GIRLFRIEND KIM

We have a lot of fun
Kim Goodin, she's so cool
Alone, ridin' bikes
Acting like a pair of fools

Talking that girl talk
Doing those female things
It's so enlightening
That girls have verbal brains

She thinks I'm crazy
And she's still my friend
I think she's snobby
Our friendship it will never end

She's one of my best friends
And for years I have kept five
Five different girlfriends
We help each other stay alive

Eleven years younger than me
Going to beauty college this Fall
I'm glad she's improving herself
Trying to find her life's call

She's got a sexy shape
But wished she had my breasts
Aren't girls funny
They don't think what they already have is best

She complains that her husband
Doesn't give her enough
I say detach a little mentally
She thinks that is too tough

When she's older she'll see
One person can't give your all
You have to give yourself a lot
For life to be a ball

You have to dis-corporate
Like Frank Zappa used to say
"Don't put your eggs in one basket"
In case, that basket falls away

And when we're sixty
Will we still go to Walla Walla and ride bikes?
Will we still do girl talk?
Will we still know each other likes?

Will we still dance around my bedroom
With the music on full blast?
Remembering those high times
All the fun we had in the past?

I believe we will
Because I keep track of my friends
They are precious treasures
There to love until time ends.
