Ten Years Ago Today

This is the day I remember of Dads passing away to Heaven.
It brings sadness and also joy for I know where he is today.
Dad gave his heart to Jesus so many years ago.
He never looked back to his former life but proceeded to follow the Lord.
I am most proud of my dad for the accomplishments he made during his life.
He was a hard worker to provide for his family and give us the wants we had.
Dad would never tire of going to work somewhere other than the factory.
It was all important to him to provide for us as he did.
I am so sure that God really blessed him for taking care of his family so well.
Today is the day that I know will be a  time of being lugubrious and yet happy.
For I am so aware of Dad's going to Heaven that nothing can convince me he went elsewhere.
Bless you, Dad, for all the things you did and the love you gave to us.
You are a far better man  than anyone could ever imagine.
I am most proud of knowing you were my dad and are in Heaven today.
