I will continue to be glad,
For one reason or another;
Knowing that I will not be sad,
Because of you as my brother.
For only that every way,
Whether in pretence or in truth;
Both of us will trust and obey,
Never to be acting uncouth.
I know that I will be set free,
Through your prayers and through the Spirit;
Giving me the foresight to see,
Of what I truly will inherit.
Christ is proclaimed and I rejoice,
For I know how this will turn out;
In peace and joy I lift up my voice,
Because I can never hold doubt.
I eagerly expect and hope,
Having nothing to be ashamed;
My faith enables me to cope,
Through all of which I have proclaimed.
I will speak boldly with honor,
For knowing that Christ is within;
Never will I ever wander,
Into the darker life of sin.
So as far as now and always,
Whether I live or if I die;
I will be happy all my days,
And I will never question why.
Christ means everything to me,
Throughout this life and when I die;
It will even mean more to see,
Christ motioning me from the sky.
If I continue to live here,
My work will produce more results;
Those oppose I can never fear,
No harm will come from their insults.
