The New Years Night

The old night brings upon us the New Years.
As the cold night wind blows.
Old memories open my eyes to new tears.
As they fall against the snow.
The snow deafens the sounds as they drop.
Bitter wind yells at me angerly still.
My mind remembers all my saddend thoughts.
These strange emotions that I now feel.
I let the ground gather up piles of fresh snow.
Letting the Rising sun warm my face.
Easing my dreams that I simply forgot to let go.
Reliving our sweet New Years embrace.
Wondering what will become of this New Years.
As the morning winds blow.
New memories created dried up my tears.
Teasing wind with the day will go.
