God will summon a kingdom,
That none of us would have known;
A nation having wisdom,
That our Lord will condone.
Because of the Lord your God,
Because of the Holy One;
To whom we honored and laud,
Sending His begotten Son.
But my thoughts are not His thoughts,
And my ways are not His ways;
He will still erase the blots,
Through confession that I raise.
Heaven is higher than earth,
So He is higher than me;
But God truly knows my worth,
And has the foresight to see.
His thoughts are higher than mine,
As well as His ways transcend;
As the Heavenly Divine,
That our thirst does depend.
Refreshing words that we thirst,
Showing us along the way;
So that we will not be coerced,
By Satan to go astray.
Rain and snow down from the sky,
And do not go back again;
Acting as though the clouds cry,
To nourish and grow the grain.
They make the crops sprout and grow,
As it is producing seed;
For God already does know,
Farmers reap for those in need.
His Word which comes from His lips,
Precisely like rain and snow;
Quenches the thirst as one sips.
With results that God will know.
