I was crazy about her bright eyes and beautiful smile,
Our families used to have gatherings every once in awhile;
Whenever I asked the kids who I should invite,
They'd say, "Ma, without Ashley things wouldn't be right!"
We all agreed the Patrick Family had to be there,
We had so much fun together because we really did care
That everybody was happy and having a good time,
We proved Jehovah's people don't believe fun is a crime;
Little Ashley always loved coming to our place,
That bright smile always lit up her pretty little face;
One night I received one of the shocks of my life,
Ashley had gone off and become Christopher's wife!
Some young Christians do what gives them peace of mind,
As Jehovah's servants they don't want to get into a bind;
Spiritually speaking they do what they feel is best
And when they close their eyes at night they can truly rest;
Little Ashley Anthony is now married to a brother,
Not only that but she's also a very proud mother,
I have to admit that I did break down and cry, When I learned her baby's beautiful name LONDYN SKAI.
