Feeding Faith
(Your Testimonies)
If you don’t feed your faith it will soon be dead
Like any other living thing that goes unfed
Faith is alive and must be treated as such
Starving faith doesn’t amount to much
For faith to grow strong and healthy
The most effective food is testimony
Drenched in the dressing of the blood of the lamb
Your faith will be strong and able to stand
The faith to believe and be free from sin
Will respond and deliver again and again
As you walk in Christ and he walks in you
There is nothing on earth that you can’t do
Look back over situations in your life time
The evidence of faith is not hard to find
When the doctor stood speechless, shaking his head
Because all medical reasoning pronounced you dead
When the banks denied every attempt for a loan
You stand amazed in the kitchen of your new home
Teachers doubting your child’s ability to learn
Awestruck at the college degree recently earned
You prayed, and you worked, and you believed
Your faith in God’s faithfulness help you achieve
Call all those past testimonies to mind
To use as faith food in troubling times
Rehearse how much you’ve come through
And remember that God believes in you
So much so, He sacrificed His only son
He overcame so that you could overcome
Circumstance that arose will arise once more
Just walk in faith as you did before
