The sparrow sings no more

No earthly songs to sing. .
Not bound by air,
To stay aloft,
Its' wings so very still. .
The breath is gone. ..
The sparrow sings no more.
It rests upon the cold dry leaves,
That crumble into earth.
And so too does this little soul,
Returned to where it's from.
The sparrow sang its songs for us,
To sing for all who'll listen. .
And now its songs, are only heard,
Carried by the wind
