Poetic Verses
From My Perspective
Don't give me a lecture
On how I should be
Or point out the faults
You are finding in me.
I don't ask your blessing
Or even a prayer
Since you made it quite clear
That you really don't care.
You puff out your chest
And with arrogance great
Say I should try
To at least emulate
Those finest of virtues
You see in yourself
In order to sharpen
And better myself.
But from my perspective
I'm no worse than you
So please don't condemn
As to others you do
I don't ask your blessing

Since you never knew me
And now I don't care.
