Will Winter Ever Leave Us???
I don't know about everyone else on planet Earth
But I have had all the winter I might have needed
This bitter cold and wind can take a hike for good
I long for those sunny bright days and clear nights
With very comfortable temperatures & gentle breezes
Those star filled skies I remember from so long ago
I need to have these old bones warmed up once again
You can keep your snow, ice & the bitter cold wind
You see at 66 years old I have come to hate winter
So please Lord I am begging you to end this winter
It's been okay, but I'm over it can we get some heat
So now I keep asking myself will winter ever leave us
