Your Annoying Facade
Do you think it goes unnoticed
Your annoying facade
When you present to others as
A noble man of God?
So many find it difficult
To place their trust in you
Since what you say seems so at odds
With things they see you do.
Why can't you simply be yourself
Instead of who you're not
For yesterday, you seemed sincere
But maybe you forgot?
Just know that to deceive yourself
For excuses, you have none
And pretense, when it is revealed
Voids any good you've done.
Oh yes, so many notice
Your annoying facade
