If pretty is as pretty does
And in one's conduct shown
Then those who have an evil heart
Are ugly to the bone.
For regardless of one's outer shell
True beauty lies within
A captivating radiance
That lies beneath the skin.
But many say that comeliness
Is just a pretty face
Though outward beauty cannot match
A lovely inner grace.
Yes, if pretty is as pretty does
And in one's conduct shown
Then ugliness within the heart
No doubt, goes to the bone.
