Terry S. Knows Only too Well the Spoils of War

My brother and friend,  Terry S. known only too well the spoils of war.
When he was in Vietnam he had to leave some of his comrades behind.
As it came time for him to depart from there and come home to nothing, he was feeling bad for having to leave his buddies over there.
Terry S. is a survivor of the war and has to deal with it constantly.
His mind of a nighttime goes back the days and nights of being other there.
The pain is excruciatingly sad to confront the ghosts that haunt him during his time of sleep.
The present day anguish must be something to consider.
For he has an outlet with his writings.
He is a masterful poet and one I wish to emulate to be a better writer.
Thankful to God for what I have I' m not purposely complaining.
Jesus has given  us the talent for writing  and it is through Poetrypoem.com we have met and share our inner most feelings.
God richly bless you, Terry S. and dear wife, Ellie for carrying for God as you do.
You are a treasure to each one who knows you and I am thankfully one of these.
