I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Lyle Captured My Heart and My Love Years Ago
This great man has captured my heart and my love years ago.
He has given; in return, the love he has for me.
I am a unique person for I feel differently than most.
Personally, Lyle's love is emanating within my heart even though he is physically gone.
I feel it is there and thriving which is something innate from God to myself.
There is nothing perfunctory at all for it is so real within me to feel the love that is mine through him giving it to me.
I carry him within my heart every single day and this is, to me, what keeps him alive.
Praise be the Lord for the victory found within my heart for Lyle and he for me.
A great thing happened some years ago when they came to see Dad and myself.
I say ‘they' because it was Lyle and his lifetime partner Ronnie who accompanied him.
What a glorious pair they made being together and the joy surrounding them.
I now have the privilege of having Ronnie to be very close to me as a brother and friend.
