Survivors of Vietnam Are Extra Special

The many survivors of Vietnam are extra special for they have resumed their lives as they have chosen to do so.
They take to bed with them the nightmares that haunt them of their past days.
I fortunately know one of them and feel a kinship to him.
His name is undisclosed to protect his privacy.
I have been  so happy coming to know him plus to know of his wife.
A family of   God's blessing is who they are plus to me a gift of joy.
There are the plagues of the memories they have over there to bother them here.
They have to have professional help; in some cases to overcome the pain.
I am most fortunate to know of this one special man and honor him; in Christ Jesus.
For Christ Jesus receives the praise for it all and the freedom of today is his to exercise.
May you know of someone survivor(s) to be proud about and offer them your thanks.
