what is the right thing
You hear on the news,
about veterans, all these bad views.
How veterans did not earn,
All these benefits about which they never did learn.
If only, the veterans affairs could give back,
A mind that is not so dark, so black.
Take away all of war's harm,
To give back each leg, each arm.
To show this whole world,
That these men and women gave the dice a twirl,
And lost years to what, for what,
To be there to fight in each hot spot.
If only veterans affairs could give back each moment lost,
So, that these man and women wouldn't have to paid the cost.
But, now to these veterans to lie, to cover up,
For the veterans to have to pay for fighting for this country that they love.
