Please God

Please God come to us now
make the hurt of the world go away,
there's too much pain here, Lord
hearts are being lead astray.

There's been too much violence
many lives being torn in two,
earthquakes, floods, sink holes
that's just to name a few.

People don't seem to understand
you reap, what you sow,
I truly wish it would go away
the pain, being thrown to and fro.

This world is a dangerous place
it has people running scared,
too many things are going on
there are few, that still care.

My heart is bleeding, Lord
I wish the hurting would just stop,
I want to hide in a corner
to my knees, I will drop.
