The Nightmares of One Veteran Forty Years Later

The truth is overwhelmingly sad and hurtful to the veteran and his buddies.
Though this was some forty years ago approximately it still awakens him out of a deep sleep.
The shrapnel with the guns blaring and so many lethal things is enough to scare anyone.
You pray to God to spare you for another day hoping things will get better.
The nightmares are so frightening and horrid it is almost a little piece of hell to endure.
It takes a strong lady who will stand by her husband and comfort him.
This Veteran is none other than my spiritual brother and friend.
I hope this will honor him for you to see what a great man he is for  living through this  hellish pain every night as he drops off to sleep.
You may ask me if I love him as my friend and brother which my answer will be; in the affirmative.
