wordrider's world
Please Tell. Me
Please tell me, I am not a fool,
I am not just some throw away tool.
That I will be dirty, never again to be clean.
never to shine, never to gleam.
Just never to again be new,
not having no clue.
If I will ever have another change,
or if at me will ever come another glance.
Just knowing never again,
a new life to begin.
A veterans wanting to do right,
wanting again to fight.
But higher ups know a veteran is not able,
must be keep from the table.
Mustn't be able to eat,
saying it is not neat.
All that is suppose to meet a veteran needs,
is under someone's heels.
That they don't want to a veteran to give,
not caring how bad a veteran has to live.
