Since we are surrounded,
By such an example;
Of a faith that sounded,
Echoes of the Gospel.
So then we must get rid,
That which is a weight;
Including secrets hid,
Behind the concealed gate.
Especially the sin,
Hidden in the closet;
Gathering dust within,
The darken composite.
We have to run the race,
That is lying ahead;
For the Lord and His grace,
For blessing us instead.
So we must persevere,
As we never give up;
And remaining sincere,
Quenching thirst from His cup.
We must focus on Christ,
The source of our goal;
Let faith not be enticed,
To make us lose control.
Christ saw the joy ahead,
So He endured the death;
To live beyond instead,
The taking of His last breath.
On the cross He ignored,
The shame and the disgrace;
Now He is our Lord,
To whom we must embrace.
You struggle against sin,
But you have to resist;
Maintain your discipline,
And ask Christ to assist.
