Waiting for the sun

The daytime breaks away,
From the morning night.
Windy gusts blow to and fro,
And scatter what they can.

I thought I saw a ray of blue,
Peeking through the clouds.

But no, it's not meant to be,
Not at least today.
So here I sit, in my house,
Waiting for the sun.
