Mom always wore a necklace
eack and every day,
it was a tiny, gold cross
she never let it go astray.
Jesus was her Saviour
always knew this, in her heart,
she read her Bible, every day
with it, she never did part.
She had her faith in God
whenever times had gone rough,
she prayed, with all of her might
when I thought she would just give up.
She raised three children
on her very own,
she always wore her tiny cross
while praying, when she was alone.
Mom's tiny, gold cross necklace
had never left her neck,
I found it today, while writing this poem
and I didn't get upset.
