No eye has ever seen, No ear has ever heard; All in which that has been, As written in the Word. Things which the eye saw not, But that we know are there; Sounds that the ears have sought, But we are unknown where. No mind has ever thought, No heart has ever felt; No army ever fought, No conscience ever dealt. The things that God prepared, For those who have loved Him; He has willingly shared, Their cup filled to the brim. God has revealed those things, To us by His Spirit; All the goodness it brings, By what we inherit. The Spirit searches all things, For the deep things of God; Removing all the clings, That is corrupt or flawed. Who knows everything, Of the secrets of man? Deep and dark that still cling, That seeing no one can. None except His Spirit, That sees in the dark deep; The corrupted merit, And the dreams as you sleep. Which things we also speak, Not in our wisdom; Rather truth that we seek, From the Divine Kingdom. Who knows the mind of God, To be able to teach; How to honor and laud, And the Gospel to preach.
