 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

Blessed is the person,
Whose sins are forgiven;
Victory has been won,
For access to Heaven.

Blessed is whoever,
Is no longer accused;
Their ties will not sever,
Salvation not refused.

Blessed are all of those,
With no deceitful thought;
For the love above flows,
From the goodness they sought.

For when I kept silent,
About all of my sin;
I struggled with torment,
Of corruption within.

But my bones became weak,
For the groaning all day;
Wanted me to go seek,
Other methods to stray.

Day and night the demand,
Came heavily on me;
As God has laid His hand,
On my iniquity.

My strength withered away,
Feeling has caused a drought;
But still wanted to stray,
Because my mind had doubt.

But my sins were made known,
No cover for my guilt;
I could not rid alone,
A bridge was to be built.

I resolved to confess,
Make my sins known to God;
And knowing He would bless,
Fixing where I am flawed.
