Poetic Verses
I Was Wrong
I felt that you resented me
That's how it did appear
But at this point, I must admit
My thinking wasn't clear.
It seemed that you were spiteful
To engage in such a game
Which made me think you were a blight
Upon your family name.
But now, I see you differently
As I did misconstrue
For I was wrong until I saw
The other side of you.
Yes, I was quite mistaken
And one thing now is clear
That what I thought indeed was not
The way it did appear.
That's how it did appear
But at this point, I must admit
My thinking wasn't clear.
It seemed that you were spiteful
To engage in such a game
Which made me think you were a blight
Upon your family name.
But now, I see you differently
As I did misconstrue
For I was wrong until I saw
The other side of you.
Yes, I was quite mistaken
And one thing now is clear
That what I thought indeed was not
The way it did appear.
