Here they gathered on this night
There where minds would set their sights
On serving one they call their King
On reaching souls with Heavens blessings
Friends, servants to one another
Family beloved, sisters and brothers
The upper room of this homestead
Filled by Love and Life's sweet bread
Thirst quenching words to drink this day
Parched hearts weary that made their way
This night where meal was shared at table
Sustenance as GOD is able
Holy is the Lamb that calls to them
Feed my flock the world condemns
Disciples mine both young and old
Nourish those that darkness stole
Bring to ears the word in flesh
Not one more loss but more than less
For time draws near as so do I
I Am, I Am who hears their cries
The age of man draws near to end
Beginning mine not one knows when
Serve and bring all those that heed
The word through you, sowing my seed
The Upper Room
