You made a promise
to your kids and your wife,
to not drink anymore
you're causing everyone strife.
I'm getting tired of being called names
and I know your kids are too,
you're not much of a father or husband
when all you can think of is booze.
You're going on your third week
you have to have faith in yourself,
I really wish you would quit
sadness, we've all been dealt.
I can't stop the way you think
we've all been misused,
that also includes yourself
our hearts are severely subdued.
You've made this promise before
don't you care about the kids and me?
If you don't stop this madness
you will lose your family.
