Have you ever wondered
what's been eating your sliced beef?
Do you ask lots of questions
and suffer with loads of grief?
The cheese always goes missing
pickles, lettuce and the tomatoes too,
do you ever sit and wonder
about what you're going to do?
I think it may have been grandpa
or maybe grandma, she likes sliced beef,
I've always had a weird feeling about her
maybe she has been the beef thief.
Mom and Dad would never do it
because they never liked sliced beef,
uncle Henry is allergic to it
and I find that to be a relief.
I think I know who's behind it
it has to be that dang dog,
he loves cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes
and sliced beef, wrapped like a tight log.
