I thank you Father
from the Earth down below,
I enjoy my lovely home
as the wind gently blows.
You sent us a precious gift
one I hold dear to my heart,
so many years ago
from this world, He did part.
Your Son died on the cross
to forgive me of my sins,
I feel the hurt for your loss
down deep from within.
