Sweet Sunset

My shelter was a massive pine,
I pressed against its base.
From where I sat, I faced due west,
Towards the setting sky.

The day was coming to an end,
A misted ,fog filled day.
The air was filled with droplets,
A heavy chilly dew.

As the day was closing, the sun finally appeared,
Just in time to say goodnight,
To the evening light.

The sun began to take on brilliance,
As it left the sky,
And set the haze ,all in blaze,
Of the sweetest light.
The floating mist, turn a shade,
Of a burgundy hue.

The sun star rays grew brighter,
As it bid farewell,
And sent streaks of colored lights,
Beyond the ridge and view.
And with the last refrains of twilight,
Bid us all Adu.
