I have been hearing in the news, as of late, that our children are creating a lot of havoc. It wasn't bad enough that these kids take guns to school, now they are taking their parents' kitchen knives out of the drawer in the kitchen and taking them to school with them. These knives are used to cook their food.
What in the living hell is going on?
There were already a few school stabbing sprees in the United States in the past couple of weeks and it has been happening here in Canada, as well. This world seems like it is getting crazier and more mental with each passing day.
Do these kids really need that much attention drawn to themselves, that they have to go out and do this to other kids? Their friends?
I have heard that a full moon makes people go crazy and act a little weird. Is this an old wives tale? Or is it really true? I do not know anymore.
What is this society coming to now-a-days? Did parents raise their children to go out and kill their friends? Did they teach them how to shoot a gun at an individual? Did they teach their children how many different ways they can stab a person and let them know that they could get away with it, without getting caught?
I think not!!!
I don't quite understand why these kids have to do the things they do. Is it the video games they are playing? Is it the violence in the movies they are watching? I truly wish I had an answer to all of these questions, so not only I could understand what exactly is going on, but I would also be able to give a straight, forward answer, to the questions these parents seek. I think it would be a little more understandable to all of us in the end.
I am in no way, trying to make fun of the parents, by no means, but I would like to be able to get them to understand, that it is not their fault, that their children do what they do. I am in no way, making fun of the kids, that take it upon themselves, to take another life into their own hands either. I am just as lost about this issue, as everyone else is.
It seems like we are all in the dark about this serious issue.
Parents have tried to keep their guns under lock and key and it did not work out too well. Now, it seems they have to keep their kitchen knives under lock and key as well, when they shouldn't have to.
Should the parents have to take the knives out of their children's fingers and give them a good slap on the hands and say, "Don't touch?"
I don't think that this would work. These kids are going to do whatever the hell they want to do and it won't matter what the parents have to say, because the kids of this world today, think they are right and that is all there is to it. The parents don't know anything.
