Will There Be A Spring? By Cynthia Jones, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetryandshortstories10 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Spring had its full day on Saturday
but snow still lingers 'round,
there has still got to be
at least six to seven feet on the ground.
I have seeds to plant
it reminds me of last year,
basically had to wait for Summer sun
and all the snow to be cleared.
There are sunny days though
but very few and in between,
the cold still pushes around the corner
and snow can always be seen.
We had more snow show
just this past Saturday,
I want to get my hands dirty
out in the sun, where I can play.
