Remember your leaders,
That have spoken the Word;
For they are your feeders,
Ensuring you have heard.
Think about how their lives,
Their faith is intimate;
Waiting when Christ arrives,
And cannot estimate.
Jesus Christ is the same,
Yesterday as today;
Forever we proclaim,
For the truth will not stray.
Get not carried away,
With strange teachings as taught;
They aim to lead astray,
With no direction sought.
Gaining your inner force,
From His loving kindness;
It helps you stay the course,
Away from the blindness.
This strength is not from,
Following rules of food;
Rather where it does come,
Of heartfelt attitude.
Jesus suffered outside,
The gates of the city;
The few that did abide,
Followed and took pity.
He suffered for to make,
All holy through His blood;
As God will not forsake,
Nor cause another flood.
So we must go outside,
And endure the insults;
As your leaders abide,
Through violent assaults.
