The Heavens declare,
The glory of God;
For the love we share,
To honor and laud.
As the sky displays,
What His hands have made;
Hearts open to praise,
When we knelt and prayed.
We tell a story,
One day to the next,
Of grace and glory,
That seems so perplexed.
One night shares know-how,
That goes well beyond;
Understanding now,
That creates a bond.
So without talking,
Without any word;
No one is squawking,
And not being heard.
Yet their sound has gone,
Out into the world;
As the morning dawn,
Show what has unfurled.
The ends of the earth,
To the moon and sun;
Proclaims the new birth,
For you has begun.
Out of His chamber,
Just like a bridegroom;
Wearing a saber,
Entering the room.
A champion force,
And eager to run;
Staying on the course,
As the Holy Son.
