We always spread the Good News,
Having no unethical schemes;
No commentary or added views,
With deception the way it seems.
Our exhortation has not,
Been blasphemous nor in guile;
Rather merely as we have sought,
The Word of God this long while.
Even as we have been approved,
Entrusted with the Word of God;
I want all your doubt be removed,
I am not constituting fraud.
For I not speak in pleasing men,
Rather for God within my heart;
Who tests our motives and then,
With sincerity to impart.
I never use any sweet talk,
Or strategies to make money;
And would not ridicule or balk,
To sway you to taste the honey.
For the Lord is our witness,
Since we are not seeking your praise;
Rather knowing the blessedness,
From God follow me all my days.
And I am gentle and humble,
Like a parent with a child;
You will never see me grumble,
Rather as tender and mild.
I felt so strongly about you,
For I was determined to share;
Knowing that the Gospel is true,
And showing you how much I care.
For what I did for a living,
Because I worked both night and day;
So I could show how forgiving,
God is if you trust and obey.
You can see how honest and pure,
When I deal with the believers;
Because I know that I am sure,
That they will be true receivers.
