Listen closely, quiet breaths,
do you know my name,
I live deep inside,
Tucked away, far from any view,
the sound I make when one is still,
not racing all about.
I call to you, you do not hear,
to busy to be calm.
But if you slow down just a bit,
this is where I'm found.
I live within, I am the soul,
the very essence of all you are,
or ever wish to be.
So take the time to listen,
and let me speak to thee.
