We know that if the life,
On earth was taken down;
The toils and the strife,
Might have broken the crown.
But we have protection,
In a building from God;
And without rejection,
If we honor and laud.
For an eternal home,
Not made by human hands;
No longer will we roam,
Where solid rock it stands.
In Heaven it exists,
And such an awesome sight;
No trouble that persists,
As we dwell in the light.
After we have moved in,
We will not be naked;
And purified from sin,
Confessed and admitted.
We might now feel distressed,
For it seems far away,
And feel as if not blest,
Since we have gone astray.
But Christ was sacrificed,
For the joy of Heaven;
If stop being enticed,
Salvation is given.
Then with eternal life,
Mortal existence ends;
As well as any strife,
That all the time offends.
Because God has prepared,
And given His Spirit;
For how much He has cared,
So we can inherit.
