Along the roadside
Take a walk along the road,
and see what you can find.
Not the trash, or empty cans,
that litter all around.
Look at the trees,
perhaps a stream, gently flowing by.
Listen to the sound it makes,
soothing to the ear.
Stop and hear the birds,
as they sing for you.
Feel the suns warming rays,
lightly on your skin.
Notice if you can,
the slowing of ones pulse.
And take the breaths, Deep and full,
enjoy your little stroll.
Life's not about the place we go,
sometimes. ...a walks enough.
and see what you can find.
Not the trash, or empty cans,
that litter all around.
Look at the trees,
perhaps a stream, gently flowing by.
Listen to the sound it makes,
soothing to the ear.
Stop and hear the birds,
as they sing for you.
Feel the suns warming rays,
lightly on your skin.
Notice if you can,
the slowing of ones pulse.
And take the breaths, Deep and full,
enjoy your little stroll.
Life's not about the place we go,
sometimes. ...a walks enough.
