Simple Bible Teachings
If simple Bible teachings form
The basis for our hope
Then those who have abandoned them
Now walk a slippery slope.
But if there is no standard
And faith is mere delusion
Where worldliness becomes the norm
Leading to outright confusion.
Where left of center takes the stage
And old ways are tossed out
By a few who think them obsolete
Sad victims of self-doubt.
Therefore, I must oppose them
And strongly disagree
Since simple Bible teachings are
Quite adequate for me.
