A bonnet of almond-dipped words sets the mood
I'm sun-clothed in rain from the inside out
The voices of a thousand winds humming about,
behind a shadowed sun that paints its own pout
__________
I climb Blue Mountains to the edge of solitude
Rivers aimlessly lost somewhere inside the green
Echoes lip-syncing me amid this drowsy scene
A cottage of memory someplace beyond between
__________
The flowers brush against my legs as do the thorns,
but I love it here where my soul meets ebb and flow
Where the rising of dawn beds evening's glow,
and my mind dances to prints from long ago
__________
Somewhere in the distance, I hear the honking of horns,
yet I stand amid the bridges of suspended halos,
where winds tickle the tops of waiting pussytoes
Where blue skies ‘n' time finally greet in repose
