I am free of all people,
And have made myself a slave;
Unto the Holy Gospel,
For winning them from the grave.

For I had become a Jew,
To follow what Moses taught;
So I could preach unto you,
The answers that have been sought.

Teachings subject to those laws,
And I did this as to win;
To help heal you from your flaws,
And cure from the stench of sin.

I became like a person,
Who does not know the teaching;
So their victory is won,
From hearing of my preaching.

I did this so I could win,
Through what Jesus Christ has taught;
Where on the cross sticks your sin,
From the blood of Jesus bought.

I became like someone weak,
In their faith and is confused;
Guide their direction to seek,
No longer feeling abused.

I became everything,
To each and everyone;
In order so I could bring,
How triumph from sin is won.

I do all this for the sake,
Of the Good News to share;
For a new life is at stake,
As it offers their welfare.

All who are running a race,
Are running the race to win;
And keeps at a steady pace,
From where the place they begin.
