2016 One Hundred Years

2016 One Hundred Years          May 10, 2015

We remember the women and men
The ones that died including the ten
Freedoms fight in Dublin town
Our leaders shot, that foreign crown
We remember nineteen sixteen
Join us and see what we mean
The Irish in Glasgow stand by
Our flag of orange and green we fly
One hundred years later still proud
Sing out for Ireland, sing loud
We hold our heads high with pride
With our feelings so deep inside
We look forward to the century year
Glasgow Irish support Ireland so dear
We move forward together as one
We remember them everyone
There's no turning back
On our one way track
Ireland a free nation again
Thanks to our women and men
Freedom, Justice, Unity and Peace
Ireland free, the troubles cease
We remember the women and men
The ones that died including the ten
