like the Baby Jesus learning to be God
I cannot help to improve everything I see
Goodness does my bidding and kneels before my graces
I am as water to a thirsty man
I am as stone to a mountain
Your futile attempts to light a fire
and sabotage that which you do not understand
dissolves beneath my lowered eyes
I cannot afford to look at you...
those gaseous bodies that lie between us
bicker and flirt and make up lies
yet I need only destroy their assumptions
and understand how wrong their self righteous assemblage was
then I'll slap your pompous arrogance
and shake your soul to admonition
and all that jangles and falls from your pouches,
those puckered bladders that store your indiscretions
would be emptied and wrung to a dry spittle
so straighten up now and stand to attend me
and I shall stroke your back as you tremble
and display your blurted transformations
we shall point them out and disinfect them with jokes
that point to their absurdities and similarities to
anything from any category
So don't think for an instant
that I have failed to reflect your feeble rays
when another star burns inside me
I reject your agreements
I defy your judgments
You may choose to ignore my distant presence
Yet I spin and engage my consorts
in utter darkness, but for the fire in my eyes
because out here in the ort cloud
your influence is weak
