Poetic Verses
Ant On The Wall
There was a black ant
that crawled up the wall,
She appeared to be valiant
as queen of them all.
I could not catch her
with a mighty fast kill,
She ran for her life
but left a tickle chill.
Soon gone from my sight
into her place of ants,
I worried with an itch
that some were in my pants.
I may not have noticed
the party that she lead,
She had come and gone
up the wall near my bed.
I stood up with ant fear
and jumped on the floor,
The feeling of a party
I just could not ignore.
With a deep breath
and some calm self talk,
I could tell it was only
one ant on her walk.
There was peace of mind
and I could get rest,
The itch went away
and sleep was the best.
