That is not what you learned,
From the teachings of Christ;
Glory you have not earned,
Since you are still enticed.
You have heard His message,
And have been taught His ways;
But the rite of passage,
Is not for one that strays.
For the truth is in Christ,
And you were taught to change;
Pleasures must be sacrificed,
Something you can arrange.
The one you used to be,
Breaks you through desires;
So be able to see,
From joys it acquires.
Because you must believe,
About changing your mood;
How desires deceive,
With a poor attitude.
Get a new attitude,
As created like God;
Be humbled and not rude,
And He will heal where flawed.
Be righteous and holy,
And get rid of the lies;
Honoring the only,
Who will open your eyes.
Speak only what is true,
Argue without sinning;
Not to let anger brew,
Start a new beginning.
Sleep not when angry,
It gives Satan a chance;
That sends out a decree,
And letting him advance.
Get rid of bitterness,
Anger and hot tempers;
God will give blessedness,
That difficulty hampers
