The Shade of Sorrow
Blazen sky of Amethyst-
The sun recedes in Ember.
Black inside since you left me
That cold and grey December.
No color in these numbered tears
that fall from my blue eyes.
Pulled me in, how can it be
That I'm stained by your white lies.
The sun will hide its face of Gold
In a veil of clouds tomorrow.
Let the rain seep into my soul...
Wash away the shade of sorrow.
